Pretty home from home cottage

Just spent 2 nights at Clydfan Cottage and can’t wait to return in Oct 2021. The cottage is cosy with comfortable beds and everything you need for a self catering holiday. In an ideal spot within Beddgelert and also for exploring the surrounding areas.

Great little cottage.

Great little cosy miners cottage, fire was used every night after our very enjoyable snowy walks. Bed was very comfortable. The only downfall is the bathroom being downstairs, but obviously cannot be helped being a typical 2 up 2 down cottage.

Great patio at the rear overlooking the river.

Amenities are close by, the local shop stocks almost everything you could want. And we ate out in The Saracens Head which was very friendly, dog friendly and the food absolutely delicious.

Plenty of walks start from the cottage. Leave the car and explore wonderful Beddgelert!

Lovely cottage, also really cosy and warm and comfortable, great for cooking which we love to do. Not just a holiday home. Will be back to explore further

Fantastic little cottage, perfect for a short stay to get rid of the city cobwebs.

No need to drive anywhere, perfect walks can be achieved from village.

We found the cottage to be an excellent base to venture into Snowdonia or to North Wales coast. The welcome package with milk, biscuits and a bottle of wine is a really nice touch. The cottage is as the owners describe, it is clean and very well equipped. It is beautifully situated and the village is on the door stop. A couple of pubs a friendly local store, that really does stock all you need, if they do not have it they will get it for you. Of course being an ex miners cottage it is small but there is enough space to enjoy our cosy evenings in front of the wood burner. We travelled with teenagers and it was no problem, the broadband internet helped of course.

We nearly overlooked the walk down the river, outstanding beauty right on your door step. We had a really nice week and if we are in the area we would definitely stay again. The owner was easy to deal with very prompt and contactable. Thank you.

This is a late review but I am at last leaving one.

My hubby and I had a long weekend here last October and from start to finish it was perfect.

Regarding correspondence with the owner who e-mailed very promptly, to payment and arrival details all of which were totally stress free.

Having arrived at this delightful cottage we were very happy. The back garden backs onto the river which was lovely. The cottage was extremely well equipped, very homely and cosy and spotlessly clean. It’s a perfect location for the cafés and eateries in the village meaning you don’t need to get your car out and perfect location for walking which we did.

When we return to stunning Snowdonia we will definitely be returning to this cottage.

Lovely little cottage!!! Full of character and period features!!!!! Very well organised welcome, and great communication before arrival!

Excellent location in a chocolate box village!

Highly recommended!!!
